New Year 7 Admissions
Applications for Year 7 places at Poole High School are managed by Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole (BCP) Council. Parents must apply through their home Local Authority (the council responsible for the area where they live).

The closing date for on-time applications for a place in Year 7 for 2027-2028 is 31st October 2026.
Late Applications Procedure
Late applications (after 31st October 2026) for the 2027-2028 Year 7 cohort cannot be made online.
Parents/Carers can download the late application form from the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole website, which needs to be returned to BCP (not to Poole High School):

If your child is not offered a place at Poole High School, you have the right to appeal the decision.

Open Events 2026
To help families learn more about Poole High School, we hold an Open Event where you can meet staff, tour the school, and hear from the Acting Headteacher.
Year 5 Open Evening – Thursday 2 July 2026
The evening will include talks and guided tours of our departments.
